Pam Covington is a writer and director originally from Dallas, TX but currently in LA. She received a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Southern California and is pursuing an MFA in directing at the California Institute of the Arts.
Her pilot script, Selection, was a semi-finalist in the hour-long teleplay competition at The Austin Film Festival in 2018. Space Flower, a short film she wrote and directed premiered at Fantastic Fest and is now available online at Omeleto's YouTube Channel for award-winning short films. Her second short film as a writer/director, Love It, a dark satire of the mural selfie phenomenon, also premiered at Fantastic Fest and is available to stream through Spamflix.
Her work seeks to explore the space between comedy, genre, and drama through character-driven stories set in imaginative worlds.
